This adapter for the Garmin Zumo XT2 is superb. It uses the standard Garmin Mounting Bracket – either the bare bracket or the wired 12v bracket that comes with the XT2 (the replacement wiring is included with the V4 adapter). Once you’ve installed this wiring (a 2 minute job) it then takes power from the Multy Cradle so it’s self sufficient. Also worth mentioning is that the bracket has an anti-theft mechanism built it so that the Garmin Mounting bracket cannot be used to disconnect the XT2 from the V4 adapter. Everything has been so well thought out.
